"Adjoa has a gift for creating beautiful sound. Her voice contains so many amazing facets with the power to communicate strength, sensitivity... In other words, she has discovered how to share her passion and delight with the world. Inspiring!"
Davide De Angelis, Creative Projects Director for Sony Music
"Adjoa is blessed with a voice of rare depth and richness. Her deep soulful tones strike a chord that seems to encapsulate all that is good in the tradition of black music. With luck... we will be hearing much more."
Malcolm Prangell, Blues and Soul Magazine
"Adjoa's unique soulful voice tells a thousand stories - whatever she sings!"

Adjoa's 8-track EP features live sessions of her songs recorded with her band in London. It includes tracks from her album project co-written with US soul musician Marlon Saunders, known for his work with artists including Bobby McFerrin and Dianne Reeves. Also included is 'Freedom', co-written with Robert Guerrier (Avatar, Da Vinci Code); and Adjoa's version of 'I Wanna Be Where You Are'. Adjoa has now included her new percussion versions of the EP tracks.
For UK singer-songwriter Adjoa the enthusiastic reception at her performance with a band at London's famous Ronnie Scotts' Club was a sign of things to come. The audience's appreciation of her unique voice led to her working with producers and writers including Robert Guerrier (Avatar, Da Vinci Code, Skyline), Rollo Armstrong (Dido, Faithless), Rob Dougan (U2, Moby, The Matrix), Cleveland Watkiss (Talvin Singh, Goldie, Jazz Warriors)
She has appeared at many venues including Somerset House, the Jazz Café, and the 100 Club, as well as at events such as the Columbia Tri-Star Oscar evening ceremony as the headline act. Adjoa performed at the Albert Hall with the London Community Gospel Choir with the Philharmonic Orchestra, alongside acts including Sir Willard White, Jocelyn Brown, Chrissie Hynde, Mick Hucknall and Alison Moyet. Her band includes musicians who have worked with Tom Jones, Hugh Masekela, Sade, Leona Lewis, Amy Winehouse and Courtney Pine.
Adjoa was honoured to perform songs including 'Freedom' at a birthday reception hosted by Dionne Warwick, for guests including Natalie Cole and Elaine Page. Adjoa sings in English, French and Spanish and Twi.
